The menu at Tenko Ramen is focused on ramen and a handful of small Japanese accompaniments, but it doesn’t stop there. Diners can look forward to dishes such as a spicy miso tantan-men and chicken fajita karaage with yuzu sweet and sour sauce. The restaurant is local chef Quealy Watson’s first fast casual concept debut after working as the executive chef at Hot Joy and serving as the original chef of The Monterey. His partner, Jennifer Dobbertin, has over a decade of experience in hospitality services and has been a small business owner in San Antonio where she gained deep knowledge both in the kitchen and front of house.

More About Us
“The hottest moment in San Antonio soup happened this summer when Tenko Ramen opened in July [2017] at the Pearl's new food hall, The Bottling Department. Even in the middle of a heat wave, people are lining up for souped-up bowls of the Japanese classic.”
“This fast-casual concept in the Pearl Bottling Department food hall from noted chef Quealy Watson proves that good things come in small packages. The ramen is delicious—especially the double mushroom—and simple dishes like chicken karaage and kimchi excel, too.”
“Tenko Ramen serves bowls of hot, savory ramen, including an unbeatable Tokyo Shoyu that comes with some of the best marinated eggs in the city.”
