With 30+ years of experience, she still does fittings for clientele and personally sees to the day-to-day operations of the workroom. Caroline is still the beating heart of Dos Carolinas, and demand for her bespoke casual shirts is booming.

The Twig Book Shop has been a haven for San Antonio book lovers since 1972. It is managed by Claudia Maceo who is a beacon and supporter of our literary community. She has been with the bookstore since it moved to Pearl in 2009 and her dedication and commitment has made Twig a literary destination and San Antonio treasure. She takes great pride in matching people of all ages with books she’s sure they’ll love.

Marla’s grandmother started Adelante in 1975, and Marla represents the third generation of this family business. For over four decades they’ve been a staple in San Antonio—dressing and accessorizing generations.
