Caroline Matthews personifies creative energy. In the early days of Dos Carolinas, Caroline did most of the work herself, from designing unique guayaberas to sewing pristine pin-tucks.

Kick back, grab a cold one, and chill out on the patio with river views featuring the sounds of live local music artists.

Local Coffee Founders started at a kitchen table. It was 2008 and Robby and Neesha Grubbs were hashing out the notion of opening an obsessively good coffee shop in San Antonio, which, at the time, was seriously lacking in the specialty coffee scene. Within a year the first Local Coffee opened and quickly became an Alamo City favorite. Serving expertly brewed coffee as well as quick bites and tasty pastries, Local Coffee Founders continues to serve San Antonio with integrity and professionalism.

If you're in need of a caffeine boost, head over to Local Coffee for a freshly brewed cup of Merrit Roasting Co. coffee or an expertly crafted latte.

Their lattes are smooth and aromatic, and I love their attention to details. The salted caramel latte was smooth and not too sweet, with a very subtle hint of salt. It was at the right temperature and I savored that cup of latte while I walked around The Pearl. They have some drinks that can't be found in other shops (e.g. golden milk drink with turmeric) and all of them are phenomenal.
