Curio

Unique Luxury Goods

Curio is the gift shop at Hotel Emma—but it's so much more than that. The shop is a cultural jewel box offering guests and locals alike a carefully curated and edited selection of treasures. From custom-made Dos Carolinas “guayarobes," to the hotel's signature fragrance, to fine jewelry, Curio has an alluring, eclectic array of goods with common threads: good design, artisanal quality, and confident style.

More About Us

The...shop, called Curio, includes unique items reflective of Hotel Emma such as the favorite guayarobe, made locally and exclusively for the hotel by seersucker specialty shop Dos Carolinas. Etched glassware — handmade in San Miguel, Mexico, and known for serving the hotel’s signature cocktails — is available in clear barrel and turquoise stemless glass.

San Antonio Business Journal

“Curio at Hotel Emma stands on its own as a specially curated boutique...Check out the blue and white striped seersucker robes made exclusively for the hotel by Dos Carolinas. Or buy one of the Mexican hand-etched glasses sourced by Melissa Guerra...that, filled with a margarita, greets each guest at check-in.”

San Antonio Magazine

“I want a guest to actually be glad they forgot something, because it led them to unexpected discoveries at Curio, whether it’s a scarf, a tote or toothpaste.”
