Parking FAQ

WHAT IF I’M JUST GRABBING COFFEE OR PICKING UP FOOD REAL QUICK?

For those quick coffee runs or grab-and-go meals, don’t worry – we offer free parking for the first 30 minutes anytime in all open surface lots as well as the Pullman Market lot on Newell and the Koehler Garage.

WHAT IF I CAN’T FIND A SPOT?

Our parking spaces rarely fill up, but it’s possible on weekends and during big events like Fiesta. We encourage you to look for parking in the lots under 281, as well as in the Oxbow Garage, where there’s almost always a spot. Looking for something in particular, like coffee or a restaurant? ARE THERE ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS?

Absolutely! We encourage visitors to consider rideshare options or VIALink mini-vans. VIA Link offers drop-offs at designated Hot Spots for a nominal fee. It’s an affordable and convenient way to visit Pearl without worrying about parking. Other alternatives include bicycle, scooter and other public transit options.

WHAT IF I REQUIRE A HANDICAP SPACE?

We’ve got you covered. Handicap spaces are available in various locations throughout Pearl, including the North and South lots under Highway 281. These spaces provide convenient ground-level access to everything at Pearl with a proper permit (Placard or License Plate).

Koehler Garage, located in the heart of Pearl, is equipped with an elevator and offers accessible parking at a fixed hourly rate.

WHAT IF I HAVE A STROLLER?

Every parking space at Pearl is easily accessible on foot, even with a stroller. We’d suggest using the interactive Pearl Finder Parking Map to find the most convenient spot for your needs. All our lots are stroller-friendly, but you might find the Koehler Garage particularly convenient due to its central location and elevator access.

HOW CAN I KNOW MY CAR IS SAFE?

Our Pearl security team patrols the parking lots and the full Pearl campus, 24 hours a day.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I EXCEED THE FREE PARKING TIME?

If you exceed the free parking time, you’ll be charged the standard rate for that lot. Most lots are monitored by cameras that scan vehicle license plates. Tickets are issued when a second scan exceeds the allotted free parking period.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I ARRIVE BEFORE 3PM BUT STAY LONGER?

You will be charged the applicable full day rate. If a guest leaves without paying, they will receive a reminder on their next visit. If you think you may stay past 3pm on a weekday take a picture of the Text / Snap to Park sign (and your license plate) on the lot to purchase parking without having to go back to the lot.

WHAT IF I ACCIDENTALLY PAY DURING THE FREE PERIOD?

If you accidentally pay during the free parking period, don’t worry – we have a solution. To obtain a reimbursement, please contact LAZ Parking and provide your name, credit card number, and receipt. They will process your refund promptly.
