Cape Bottle Room, Texas’s only wine bar dedicated to South African wines, opens its second location on Friday, November 7 at Pearl. Guests 21+ can enjoy tastings, wine flights, and shareable South African-inspired plates during the Grand Opening Weekend, November 7–9. Visit the new space at 1803 Broadway Street #108.

Coming late November
Opening late November, Jue Let is a two-story cocktail bar and social space from Best Quality Daughter chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin in San Antonio’s Pearl District. Named for the Chinese cook who inspired James Beard’s early love of food, the bar serves Asian-inspired cocktails by Lis Forsythe and culturally reimagined bar fare by Alan Nelson.

Pearl is hosting The Giving Machine as part of the Light the World initiative. This experience features custom vending machines that let you donate to local non-profit organizations with a single push of a button. It’s a vending machine with a heart!
From meals and textbooks to bus passes and car seats, there are plenty of products and services to choose from, with prices ranging from $5 to $200. You can find these machines in the Cellars Pavilion near the Food Hall.

Pearl is proud to partner with ACTIVATE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming communities through the power of sport. ACTIVATE understands the strong connection between physical and mental well-being and works daily to deliver sports and fitness programs that encourage children and their families to lead active, healthy lives.
Together, Pearl and ACTIVATE will offer a free, one-hour fitness class open to the public every Tuesday from 7 PM to 8 PM.
