Arugula Salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette



  • 1-2 bunches arugula or mixed greens
  • 1 bag candied pecans
  • 1 tablespooon red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ straw wildflower honey
  • (to taste) salt & pepper


The arugula has a peppery bite to it which pairs wonderfully with the acidity of the vinaigrette. It’s the perfect salad for pairing with rich dishes or bowls of pasta.


Place all ingredients in a small jar. Seal the jar and shake vigorously, until emulsified. Add more salt and pepper if needed.


  1. Wash and dry arugula/greens.
  2. Place in a large salad bowl.
  3. Add chopped candied pecans.
  4. Dress with the red wine vinaigrette
