More About Us

Peaceful Pork grows in South Texas mesquite savanna, 100 miles south of San Antonio on Mount Lucas Ranch. Their heritage pigs are a cross of old world Large Blacks and Red Wattles with some Berkshire papas for optimum marbling. Loncito Cartwright, owner and pig rancher, is dedicated to delivering good food to regional tables. He'll tell you, all he ever wanted to be was a cowboy, yet a specific vision and hard work have brought him to the world of consciously-raised food.
