Behind The Oaks Farm

Pasture to Table Grass-Fed Meat and Eggs

Behind the Oaks Farm focuses their efforts on raising grass-fed beef, pasture-raised chickens and eggs, and in growing and expanding their own apiary to provide the surrounding areas with local honey. The farm steadfastly practices regenerative agriculture as a way to give back to the land and animals that we love.

More About Us

Zachary and Samantha Platt and along with their families, steward the land and animals of Behind the Oaks Farm. Family owned since the 1970’s, they are located in Schertz, Texas, right outside of San Antonio. Samantha is the third generation of Greaves to operate the farm, and Zack married into the farm life over 10 years ago. When visiting them at the Pearl Farmers Market, you will be able to meet them and their four kids.
