Each year, Travel + Leisure invites its readers to pick their favorite hotels, resorts, cities, spas, and more for their highly anticipated and coveted World’s Best Awards. They received hundreds of thousands of votes for their 25th edition released in the summer of 2020, and Hotel Emma made the list of the Top 15 City Hotels in the Continental U.S. Hotels were rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value, and with an impressive score of 93.92 out of a possible 100 points, Emma comes in at the 15th spot. Travel + Leisure notes that the award-winning hotel made the list because it “strongly reflect[s] the personality of” San Antonio, while showcasing “its past as a landmark brewery.” The world-class hotel doesn’t skimp on the luxury, all the while remaining true to its South Texas roots, even down to its mini-bar treats.
