


There’s a new star in San Antonio. And it’s shining at Pearl. The newly expanded campus of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), San Antonio, is elevating Latin American cuisines to their rightful place, while promoting industry diversity through a delicious array of education programs.
Chef on the horizon? The CIA, San Antonio’s 30-week Culinary Arts Certificate Program teaches basic skills with an emphasis on Latin American cuisine. An Associates Degree program was added to the curriculum in 2011.
Chef in the house? The CIA, San Antonio’s professional development programs are great for working professionals who want to further their career or learn how to whip up an Andean harvest pit roast in a clay pot.
All-out Foodie? If you have more aprons than pants, the Culinary enthusiast classes will fill you up.
